Lake Oloiden

Oloiden Lake, also referred to as Lake Oloiden, graces the Great Rift Valley of Kenya with its stunning presence. Nestled in close proximity to the renowned Lake Naivasha, this area is celebrated for its scenic beauty and diverse wildlife. The picturesque Oloiden Camping Site, set against the backdrop of Oloiden Lake, offers a tranquil haven for nature enthusiasts. Campers at Oloiden can immerse themselves in the breathtaking landscapes, enjoy the serenity of the surroundings, and partake in outdoor activities.

Accommodation

The Oloiden Camp offers a range of accommodation options which include the following;

• Double tents; These tents are ideal for couples as they offer a private and intimate setting.
• Quad and Kizingo tents; These are a perfect option for small groups of friends or families.
• Jumbo tents; The Jumbo tents are designed for larger groups. They provide comfortable sleeping arrangements and a communal area for shared experiences.

Amenities at the Oloiden Camping Site

The camping site offers a range of amenities to enhance your camping experience. These includes comfortable tents, clean toilets, hot showers, bonfire pit, a restaurant and a bar.

You can also enjoy various activities at the Oloiden Camp such as; boat rides on Lake  Oloiden, excursions to Hell’s Gate National Park, Crescent Island Wildlife Sanctuary, and Mount Longonot National Park. Note that swimming in the lake is not allowed due to the presence of hippos, but the camp has a private swimming area where you can enjoy swimming.
